Mission of TLA
The mission of Teen Leaders of America (TLA) is to empower youth to face the challenges of the 21st century by providing students with the life and leadership skills necessary to get into college, graduate and select rewarding careers. TLA provides programs and services in the areas of Youth Leadership & Development, College Outreach and Workforce Development to middle and high school students in grades 6 through 12.

About TLA
Teen Leaders is open to any student with a desire to succeed regardless of race, gender or economic status.  Teen Leaders of America is supported by the Kids Hope Alliance (formerly Jacksonville Children's Commission) and Family Support Services of North Florida, a division of the Department of Children and Families.  Youth summer jobs are supported by the United Way of Northeast Florida and the Mayor's Youth at Work Program.  In-School Mentoring programs are supported by KHA and the Florida Department of Education.
